The main ferry link to the Isle of Lewis is via Ullapool so you can take day drips or overnighters to the Hebrides.

Reaching Ullapool

Ullapool is in the north west Highlands of Scotland. The region is one of the last unspoilt natural environments in Europe which is great for seeing wild life and exploring the Highlands and Western Isles..

If you are driving here, we are approximately 55 miles north of Inverness on the A835. Car can be hired in Inverness centre or at the airport that has links to most major airports in the UK and some in Europe.

Getting to Inverness

Plane

Inverness Airport is well serviced for links throughout the UK and more European links are opening all the time. London flights can be caught from Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton and Stansted. Hire cars can be collected from the airport, or there are regular bus links to Inverness itself. The drive from the airport to Stoer is between 2 and 2.5 hours (see below).
